Not legal advice

Simple Wills is a self-serve document preparation tool offered by Spraggs Law. Using it does not create a lawyer-client relationship and is not legal advice. If you have questions about your estate, you can book a consultation with a Spraggs Law lawyer. Consultations are arranged and billed separately from your purchase of this tool.

Your responsibilities

You agree that the information you provide is accurate, that you are of the age of majority in your province (19 in BC, 18 in Ontario), and that you understand the generated will must be printed, signed, and properly witnessed to take effect.

Payments

Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Because the product is a digital document delivered immediately, refunds are generally not available. If a technical issue prevents delivery, contact us and we will resolve it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spraggs Law is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Simple Wills. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid.

Privacy

Your use of Simple Wills is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Cross-border data storage

To provide the service, your personal information may be stored and processed on servers located in the United States by our third-party service providers (including database, email, payment, and document storage services). By using Simple Wills, you consent to this transfer. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
